Privacy notice
This notice explains how we handle your personal data when you use Chamanismo y Holística. It is written in accordance with the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and its regulations.

1. Data controller
Eddie Jimenez, doing business as Chamanismo y Holística, based in Mexico City, Mexico, is responsible for processing your personal data.
For any privacy-related matter, including requests to exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation, and objection (ARCO), write to hola@chamanismoyholistica.com.
2. Data we collect
We collect only what's necessary for each feature:
- Identification and contact: email address and, if you choose to provide them, your name and phone number.
- Information you provide for a reading: topic, intention, question, chosen cards or runes, and, for numerology and birth chart readings, date (and, if applicable, time and place) of birth.
- Account and purchase information: orders, delivered readings, clarifications, membership, preferences, and consents.
- Payment data: processed directly by our payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card number; we only see the brand, last four digits, and expiration date.
- Technical and usage data: pages visited, visit source, actions on the site (for example, starting a form or opening checkout), device and browser type, language, time zone, and performance data. This is measured with our own tools and Google Analytics, without identifying you by name or email (see section 8).
We do not request sensitive personal data (health, beliefs, sex life, origin, financial situation, etc.). We ask that you not include your own or other people's in your questions. If you choose to include them, we understand that you give us your express consent to use them solely to prepare your reading.
3. How we use your data
Required purposes (without them, we cannot provide the service):
- create and manage your account and access;
- process payments, memberships, cancellations, and refunds;
- prepare and deliver your readings, clarifications, and content;
- handle requests, provide support, and address issues;
- send you service notices (access, delivery, changes to your order, renewals);
- prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
Additional purposes (you may object without losing the service):
- send you your daily practice by email, only if you activate it; you can stop it at any time;
- measure how the site is used in aggregate to improve it.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with providers who deliver necessary services to us and process it on our behalf:
- Payment processor (Stripe): charges, subscriptions, and invoices.
- Email delivery service (Resend): notices about your account and readings.
- External providers of technology-assisted writing and voice services: only if you authorize it when requesting your reading or session, to prepare your report or audio based on your question, your cards, or your name and intention. We do not send them your email or payment information.
- Website and database hosting (InMotion Hosting).
- Google Analytics (Google LLC): audience and site usage statistics, described in section 8.
- Sign-in services using third-party accounts (for example, Google), only if you choose to use them.
Some of these providers may process data outside Mexico. In those cases, we require equivalent safeguards. We may also share information when required to do so by a competent authority in accordance with the law.
5. How long we retain your data
We keep your account and readings as long as you keep your account. You can request their deletion at any time from My account; you have 7 days to change your mind, after which your readings, questions, clarifications, and personal data will be deleted.
Payment records are retained without your identifying information for as long as applicable tax and accounting obligations require. Site measurement data is aggregated and does not identify you.
6. Your rights
You may access, correct, or cancel your data, or object to its processing. You may also withdraw your consent and limit the use of your data.
- From My account, you can correct your information, download everything we have about you, and delete your account.
- You can also write to hola@chamanismoyholistica.com with your name, the email address on your account, the right you want to exercise, and, if applicable, the data you want corrected. We’ll respond within a maximum of 20 business days.
If you believe your rights have not been upheld, you may contact the competent personal data protection authority (as of the date of this notice, the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno).
7. Communications
Account notifications are part of the service and you always receive them. Daily practice notifications are sent only if you turn them on, include a one-click unsubscribe link, and can be paused from My account.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and administrative measures: encrypted connections, access to your readings only through your session, one-time access links, attempt limits, activity logs, and backups. No system is infallible; if a breach affects your rights, we’ll let you know.
10. Minors
The service is for people over 18. If we detect information about a minor without authorization from their legal guardian, we will delete it.
11. Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we will publish the new version on this page with its date. Current version: 2026-10-19. Last updated: October 19, 2026.
